ooc: Anyone feel free to reply,

Something new, somewhere she had never been before... well with out being in trouble.
In her student years, Autumn was only in the Staff room because she had been caught tampering with people's spells behind their back, or because she was caught out of bounds (ahem the forest) or just because she wanted to see if she could get into the staffroom and see what the teachers had in there. But of course she had no luck, and she even said to her friends one another unsuccessful evening that one day she was going to become a professor just so she could get in and see.
Did she ever think that sentence would be true?
Not in the least.
Now, there stood, Autumn Dreasle, as a Professor, and a head of house. Who would have guessed? The Slytherin meanie a Professor at Hogwarts, and actually wanting to be there.
It was weird when she left Hogwarts as a seventh year, the moment she walked out the gate it seemed like a switch was flicked, from mean self centred Slytherin, to a mature adult, who could only think about 'what’s next'.
Was it really the power around Hogwarts getting to her head? Making her feel it was her duty to keep the Gryffindors from getting an enormous head and reminding the Hufflepuffs they where left overs? Was it the other Slytherins around her feeding her more power? Making her feel she had to set the standard?
Slytherins where very secretive and very cunning people.
When they walked together through the school, they did it with poise and with a sense of power, like they owned the school, and every one had to walk around them and out of their way, (or so the Slytherins saw it), but there was a secretive structure, to eyes that did not belong to Salazar Slytherins house, believed that the Slytherins saw one another equals (except for the one or two) they walked together and always showed respect, but Slytherin was a proud house, they did not show flaws. In her time as a Slytherin Student, she would always save her shouting for the common room. She would tell that prat off in private amongst her loyal friends. She would not allow other houses to see their inner house rivalry, She found it a weakness for others to use against them.
Not everyone in Slytherin saw it that way, but Autumn did.
Years later Autumn, now an adult and now a professor and now standing in the teachers staffroom. Was it worth trying to break into?
As a student perhaps, but only, only for the satisfaction and glory of breaking in.
Being allowed into the staff room wasn’t that same, there was nothing exciting in there, a few papers, a few books, cups, tables and chairs, a fire place and a window, amongst other junk.
Autumn simply sighed and walked to the window to view the day.
