Dear Mom and Dad Hello Mom and Dad...How are you? I'm fine at the moment which is a miracle that I've survived this long at Hogwarts. How's Holly and Blake doing? I know that Holly has been at Durmstrang but she hasn't written to me at all. Actually there's a reason I'm writting this and that's I need you to send me a new package of my heart medication. I had presumed that I brought a years supply with me but it seems that it's been misplaced. Well that's all I'll say for now so I'll see you during the summer holidays..............Damien
That letter had been written earlier in the day and it was only this time in the afternoon that Damien was able to send the letter to his parents. Knowing that his package of heart medication had vanished had been something that peeved him since he knew that he had to watch everything he did until the new supply was sent to him. "Come Here Frosty" Damien shouted out while the snowy white owl flew down to him. Damien stared at the blue eyes of his owl while knowing that the eye colour was what made Damien get this owl. Just the knowledge that when he looked into his owl's eyee, it was almost like looking into his own icy blue eyes. Stroking the owl's feather's lightly he smiled while he started to fold the letter.
With the wind's flowing lightly around him he knew he had to get this letter tied down before he allowed it to slip out his grip. The next thing he know it and with his own dumb luck, a massive uproar of wind had taken the letter out his hand. Seeing the letter fly towards the open door to the owlery, Damien slipped when he tried to race after the letter. Getting up and brushing the snow off him, he looked for the letter but all he heard was the faint sounds of footsteps coming up the stairs to the owlery.

Looking up the endless stairs that lead to the Owlery, Gemini sighed began to make her way up. She had done this many times but each time it seemed like there was more and more stairs. Why couldn't they have made the stairs move or something. They are wizards after all, she thought to herself. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the strong winds that decided today would be the best day to start.
With her hood having fallen off her head and her hair blowing all over the place it was a wonder Gemini hadn't fallen yet. A creamy white envelope was clutched in her right hand. She had written another letter to her parents, telling them about all that was going on. Nothing too interesting had happened for the past few days, to Geminis dismise. She loved being where all the action and drama was.
Being only a few steps from the top, a strong gust of wind blew causing her to go down a few steps and clutch the railing. As she did so a letter flew from the Owlery and hit her in the chest. Grabbing the letter she proceeded to examine it as she ascended the lest few step. Seeing as she head was lowered to look at the letter, she did not notice that anyone else was in the Owlery.

Damien froze slightly while hearing the soft thumps of footsteps against the stone stairs while his mind raced to wonder who it was and what would happen if they found his letter. Would that person who found it read the letter out of curiousity or heck did they even manage to get ahold of the letter in the first place. Damien had hide his heart condition away from everyone since he didn't want the sympathy placed upon him, just because he suffered from a heart condition. Before he had the chance to even start to chase after the letter his eyes laid upon the figure of a young lady who walked up the stairs.
His heart and thoughts had sunk a bit once he noticed that the young lady who walked up had his letter clutched in her grasp and her eyes were gazing at the library. Gulping slightly while unsure if he should speak up or what he knew that over the short time she was going to notice that she wasn't alone anymore. Clearing his throat a little, his eyes gazed towards her while finally getting the words to come to him. "Hello there" Damien said to the girl while unsure if she was going to put two and two together and realize that it was his letter that he wrote.

Gemini was about to open the letter in her gloved hand when someone spoke. Her hand was just about to break the wax seal on the envelope, when instead she looked up at the source of the voice. Till now she had figured with all the windly weather they were having, no one would bother trying to get up here. She was surprised that the owls were still around. A bit of blonde hair fell over one side of her face as she looked at the other person in the room.
"Hey, this yours?" she asked holding up the unopened letter. Her eyes quickly scanned his clothing, indicating any signs of Gryffindor. It if was a Gryffindor, she wouldn't bother giving hte letter back. Instead she would go back to her previous plan and open the nicely sealed envelope. It was probably his, seeing as no one else was around, it could have come from on the the owls.

"Yeah it is my letter that you have in your heads, if you don't mind I would like it back" Damien said to her while knowing that he did want it back but didn't want to try to sound pushy and make it seem like he had to have it back to him. In truth it was more that he just didn't want her to read the letter and find out about his condition since he wasn't really ready to let anyone else know of the problems he had with his heart.
"By the way...the name's Damien Miller, seventh year Ravenclaw" Damien said to her while introducing himself to her. He smiled a soft smile towards her and just wanted to let her know that he wasn't a foe since he didn't want to cause trouble with anyone, plus he needed to send that letter to get his medication sent to him so that he wouldn't have to keep worrying about anything that could happen to him.

Gemini looked at the letter for a moment. She was trying to figure out if it was of great importance to him or if it was just another routine letter. Flipping it over a few times, Gemini decided to have some fun and taunt him a bit. She held the corneres of the envelope and twirled it around a bit her eyes looking up at him. He hadn't seemed like the letter was worth much.
Looking up at him she smirked and walked over to where he was standing, holding the letter out to him. "Gemini Malfoy, your the Ravenclaw chaser aren't you?" she asked curiously. The name seemed familiar, she knew she had heard it somewhere and if he was the chaser then her prediction was right. He didn't look that bad either, she thought her smirk widening a bit.

Just watching careful at what she was doing with the letter, all he needed was for another gust of wind to take that letter out her grasp and to lose it once again. Damien's icy blue eyes stared intently at the letter for a brief moment. After breaking his gaze he looked back at the girl while wondering if she was going to give him back his letter or not.
"Yeah I'm the chaser for the Ravenclaw team" Damien said to her with a smile while knowing that his position on the team could be at risk if his condition got out to the world as well. Seriously who would want to have a player on their team who's heart can tear open and kill him on the spot. "It's nice to meet you as well Gemini" Damien replied right back to show that he didn't mind their meeting at all either.

Gemini continued to hold out the letter to him, waiting for him to take it. She wondered why he hadn'r done so already, seeing as she had wanted to get it back. Any longer and she would throw the letter to the ground, it would be too long soon and she would look like an idiot. An idiot is nothing something that she was going to look like, not to anyone. Clearing her throat slightly she waved the letter around her bit. Her hand was getting a bit stiff.
"Are you going to take this back or can I throw it out the window?" she asked slightly annoyed. Her annoyance quickly disappeared thought, when he said he was the chaser. "Pleasure is mine." she told him when he said that it was nice to meet her. Several things flew into her mind at once, one was why she herself was there. It was to owl a letter to her parents. The secound was that she would have to be going back down those stairs, again. She could die.

Taking the letter back from her, Damien knew that it wasn't that important of a letter but it did contain some personal information that he didn't want to get out in the open. Just having those impending thoughts in his head about his heart defect he knew that he couldn't allow his heart to get in the way of his daily life.
"So do you mind if I ask what brings you out here?" Damien asked her while knowing that there had to be a reason that brought her out to the owlery or that maybe she was bored and just roaming around when she decided to come up here for a bit.
((Sorry it's short and took long to get here I've been busy these last few days))

Gemini for the first time since she started up theose stairs realised that she still had her own letter cluthing in her hand. Snapping out of her trans she looked at her letter and then looked up for her owl. "Same things as you, a boring letter." she told him still looking for her owl. She was black and slightly scrawny. "But I was hoping to sit around here for a while, seeing as I have nothing to do." she added before finding her owl. She quickly tied the letter to its leg and gave it a treat from her pocket before letting it off out the window. Turning back around she looked at Damien again. "So are you just up here for the letter?" she asked nodding her head towards it.

"Might be another boring letter, but they both must be something worthwhile sending" Damien said to her while just knowing that they both had letters of importances if they both actually took the time to climb up the Owlery to send them out. "Preety much that's why I'm up here and to just get away from the world for a bit" Damien replied to her while searching his snowy owl out until he seen his owl come to him. Once the letter was tied to the owl he watched for a moment while the owl flew off.

Gemini shrugged slightly making it seem like the letter wasn't of much importance. "You can say that, but sometimes you don't have a choice with whether the letter is important of not." she told him tucking some of her hair behind her ears. It was true, something a letter had to be sent, no matter what the contents were. She knew what it was like to have to do that. Write updates every so often. Being a prefect made things a bit easier because she was able to bend a few rules. "Seems like the best place to get away from the world." she commented seeing as it was a tower in the middle of the grounds. Not many people liked venturing up here. "

"That's true indeed that letter's aren't always important but usually are sent" Damien replied to her. It was true indeed but his own letter was important enough since it was something that would eventually help him live longer than he would. With the heart defect he was born with a small pain to have, it was a miracle he was still alive. "Yeah it is a great place to just get away from the world and just enjoy sometime alone to yourself" Damien said to her.

"Its something that man kind can't seem to avoid." she said making the situation seem more dramatic then it really was. She had a smirk on which looked like a smile that seemed to want to pop out. She had been trying to hold back a laugh because it hadn't been something funny she said. She just found it funny. "It is, but the owls do get annoying sometimes." she told him before sitting on the window sill. She sat facing him.

"That's true that the owl's can get rather annoying at times, unless their just annoyed at us" Damien said with a small laugh. He could just imagine the way these owls would be peeved off that they were invading their space. Just being here was peaceful since it allowed him to think about a few things on the general things in life. With his health and family on his thoughts he just cleared his thoughts while turning his attention back to Gemini. "How has your day been so far?" Damien asked her out of the blue.
