Natalie looked out at the frozen lake, and the entoxitcating woods. But the smoke coming from the Game Keepers hut was the best site of all. A warm fire, a comfortable home in the midst of a winter wonder land. The moon shinning on the dark wood made it even more beautiful then it should have been. In reality it was a small hut, but tonight it looked like an oasis. She continued looking out at the sceen infront of her untill a voice brought her back to reality. She smiled ever brighter and nodded. "An amazing sight. I can't believe I never found this spot. How long have you known about it?" She asked before she could stop herself. She had said more in 5 seonds then she had all night. But almost immedietly stopped worrying. Maybe a conversation would be good.

Travis leaned back against the roof and stared up at the moon. It was one of his favourite things about nature. Of course no one knew that, because he didn’t really reveal things like that to people. He preferred it better then the sun. The moon gave off a sense of mystery and romance. It sounded corny even in his mind but Travis liked it. He had started a conversation and it was her choice if she wanted to continue with it. His gaze never left the moons but he did reply after a moment of silence. “Since first year, I climbed up here to avoid getting caught out after hour.” He had been sitting in the room below them having gone exploring as any first year would. He had heard someone approaching the room and had quickly climbed up onto the roof.

Natalie looked out again, entranced. Without thinking she lifted her hand to reach her neck. Grasping her necklace in her hand. She had no memory of doing so, and almost never did. She did it without thinking. The moon shaped locked had become like a security blanket. Going everywhere she did, and looking over her just like the moon. His voice again broke her trance and she listened intently as he told her when he found the room. She laughed slightly, nodding. Her laugh sounding faintly foriegn in the quite and still air. But she payed no notice. "Cool, I did a lot of exploring first year. But mostly of the forest and grounds. Luckily, I never got caught. Sometimes being a goody-Ravenclaw has it's benifits." She replied grinning.

"I always snuck out to do something. Haven't been caught yet and not planning to anytime soon," he told her off handedly. He had always been good at not getting caught. It was like his specialty, and he was proud of it. He had a few detentions from not doing anything in class or for starting a fight but other then that nothing. It was as if no one noticed he was there. Actually the truth was that no one did notice that he was there. He was really surprised that the small amount of friends he had could actually see him. "Well you got a free pass, I get free detention slips for being a Slytherin." he told her still looking up at the moon.

Natalie nodded as he talked to her. Taking in his words but also blending out all other sounds. As much as she loved the moon, and as often as she admired it; she could never dicide if she liked full moon or sliver moons better. They bothe were amazing, although one didn't give off as much light. Sometimes that was good however. She laughed slightly. "It's not something you plan really. But i know what you mean." She listened to him for a bit more and then turned to face him. "Yah, Sometimes i think the differences between houses isn't as big of a deal as they make it." She turned back to the moon, leaning back farther and after a moment removing her hands entirely and lying down.

“Well to some people it is a great difference. We act according to our house. At least they matched my personality. Quite weird actually,” he said told her. He was sorted into a house that fit his personality. He found that he would have a problem if he was in any other house. One of them would be from his parents. The other would be he would just feel out of place. It was funny house the house seemed to put students into the right house. Mind you he still hated it, after what it said to him in his first year. It was because of what he told him that Travis turned out the way he did. Life was too short to take for granted.

Natalie nodded. What he said makes sence to her, just lacked one thing. "I still don't get why we all have to be rivals. I hate it that most Slytherins hate the rest of the houses. What if i had been sorted into Slytherin? The enemies i have wouldn't exist." She shook her head. Sometimes life was more confuzing if you studied it then if you just left it alone. But Nat often confuzed herself. She liked taking things to the next leval, digging deaper and figuring stuff out. Not just going with the flow. To her each second wasted was a second of her life she would never get back. Sometimes people thought she was parinoid. But she was far from that. It was more like a ... curious feeling really.
