Hiss of the Serpent (Preferably a Slytherin)

[Bellaree Riddle]

Bellaree Riddle pulled back a few thin vines of ivy that had winded its way around the small, rusty gate of the Hogwarts Cemetery. She pulled the lock back out of place and pushed the gate open, shutting it softly behind her. She rotated her bony shoulders backwards slowly before continuing into the graveyard. She almost never wore anything that exposed her arms, her forearms especially. She knew she'd be out of Hogwarts and into Azkaban before she could snap her fingers if the Head Master, Harry Potter, saw what was burned into her flesh. The wicked, and to most, horrifying, dark mark. Which stung with intense pain once a month, just to remind her what she and her brother, Arion, was to do. They were born for one purpose, to finish what their father didn't, couldn't. They were to become the next Dark Lords, and finally finish where their father left off.

Kill Harry Potter.

Oh she'd do it with pleasure. The man who had not only taken their father away, but killed their mother too. Azkaban had drained the little life left in Bellatrix Lestrange. The great women you had stuck with Lord Voldemort through thick and thin, his most powerful follower, and her dear mother. Dead. Her knuckles whitened as memories flooded her mind. All those lonely years of only having her brother to talk to, to confide in....She shook her head quickly, and her shining mane of long black hair swayed back and forth, shaking those thoughts out of her mind. She had more important things to think of, like how they would accomplish her plot. How they could get away with murdering Harry Potter, without being caught. She had a sharp mind, she'd think of something.

She picked up her pace and walked quickly through the rows and rows old tombstones, covered with overgrown vines and moss. She scanned the area, her deep brown eyes flickered in the bright light. She spotted what she was looking for, four very large tombstones right in the center of the graveyard. The Hogwarts founders. Reaching the tombstones, she stopped in front of the first one and read,"Helga Hufflepuff. Hogwarts Founder." Wrinkling her small pointed nose, she turned to the next one, "Romena Ravenclaw. Hogwarts Founder" Next. "Godric Gryffindor. Hogwarts Founder" Next. "Salazar Slytherin. Hogwarts Founder. Serpent-tongue" She stopped here and re-read the name twice, then slipped a spider-like, long fingered hand out of her cloak and traced the large, fancy letters with her finger nail, digging into the stone. Smiling ever so slightly, she pulled a small snake out of her pocket and let it slither through her thin fingers. She glanced around herself before hissing, "Here we are Nagini, at the beginning, the dark beginning" quickly in parseltongue.

She had named her snake Nagini, after hearing that her father once had a snake that too, was called Nagini. Though it had disappeared after the great battle. Hearing a twig snap nearby, and the russel of trees, she snapped her head to the side and narrowed her eyes, searching through the forest.

Arion reached for his wand and with a flick the gate to Hogwart's cemetary opened, he smiled slightly, He had seen somebody come in here and was curios of who it might be. He slowly began walked into the cemetary, When he felt something splash on his face. Arion look up and notice that it was raining, He like the rain. The rain glowed with a light all its own, magnifying, amplifying everything. Shadows stretched blue-white along the hazy scenery like a monster baring its teeth for a single instant.

He stood there for a minute with his eyes closed, He took a deep breath and the cold air slowly filled his lunges, It felt good, The cold signaled death. And soon death will come again, He and his sister Bellaree would make sure of that. They will kill Harry potter and become the next dark lords and succeed where their father failed.

He allow himself a laugh. The laugh was as cold, There was no joy, No happiness in him anymore. He had killed that a long time ago. Now he was only hatred. And all of his hatred was directed at Harry Potter. He slowly open his eyes, They smoked of hatred, he take another deep breath and calm down. He cant allow himself to get emotional.

So he walked deeper into the cemetary. He walked past rows of tombstones before he finally saw somebody, He stood there in silence and watched the person. But then he heard that the person spoke parseltongue, He knew that it could only be one person, His dare twin sister. His smile grew slightly bigger. But he was also concerned, What is she doing out here.

He slowly approached here, he thought that he might sneak up on here. But that didn´t succeed. He was so lost in his thoughts that he manage to step on a twig, Breaking it in half. A normal person wouldn´t notice it, But his sister was cautious. And that meant that she was up to something. There where no point in hiding anymore “ What is my sister doing out here” Arion said as he walked out of the shadow.

Bella took a small step forward towards the forests, stopping when something cold and wet hit the top of her head. She looked upward and frowned. She hated it when it rain, expecially when it rained hard. It made her clothes stick to her body, making her look even taller and bony. She slipped her snake back into her pocket and pulled out her long, black wand, her mothers wand. She cast a simple half-globe over herself, blocking the rain from hitting her. She moved her wand back down to focus on the forest, and was just about to set the tree on fire when,

“What is my sister doing out here”

She lowered her wand slowly, and pocketed it, sighing softly. "I could ask you the same question, hiding out in the forests....having fun are you, Arion?" She teased, raising her eyebrows and smiling.

When Arion walked out from the protection of the tree, He could feel the rain hit his face and his clothes again, It was cold and wet. And his clothes stick to his body. But he didn´t do anything about it. He liked the cold and he didn´t have a body that he was ashamed of, Not like his sister that was so touchy about her body. He smiled slightly. A normal person would look more friendly when they smiled, But Arion´s face looked twisted when he smiled, It looked evil and sinister, Like a monster born in evil.

Arion walked over to the tomb that his sister had looked at, He touched it with his long fingers"Salazar Slytherin. Hogwarts Founder. Serpent-tongue", The tomb of their ancestor, He had never been here before, Such a magnificent tomb, The great Salazar Slytherin, A true wizard.His long finger slip down to the ground and he move them over the tomb, “ Truly magnificant” Arion said to himself as he turned to face his sister.

"I could ask you the same question, hiding out in the forests....having fun are you, Arion?"

“ I was curious of who might come here, I was quite surprised when I saw you” Arion said as he walked over to his sister, he stopped right next to her and look at the tomb of Salazar Slytherin, “ So what are you doing here” Arion asked and looked at her.

Bella watched as he ran his long fingers, so much like her own, over the tomb, her vicious, sharp brown eyes followed his fingers, then flicked up again quickly as he spoke.

“I was curious of who might come here, I was quite surprised when I saw you”

"No....you wouldn't find me here....in this graveyard" She said quietly but sharply. She frowned once more and turned away slightly, as if her own response had upset her. She visited her mothers grave in another graveyard once a month. Her father would obviously not have a grave. Didn't such a brilliant and cunning man such as him, deserve a grave, a tombstone?

“So what are you doing here?”

"I needed some, ah, inspiration.... the plan is taking a little longer then I would have expected. I hoped he would be out of our way sooner, but he won't slip away again. Not now" She replied, exchanging her wand for her snake. She let its cold, small body slither through her long fingers and into the palm of her hand.
