Seth didn't know where they were walking, it seemed now that they were just strolling as if through a park. Walking to get nowhere, just walking to walk. "Yeah." Seth replied blushing a little bit. He wasn't even consciencious that he was doing it, or did he realize that he was doing it, it had just happened. Even after so many years Seth had trouble controlling his emotions or even hiding them, carrying them around and concealing them. Being nervous was something that he always had trouble with, it was painfully obvious whenever he was nervous. Even if Seth didn't know it right away, everyone else did. He took another drag on his cigarette looking away from Travis and the expression that he had given him, it had been that that had made him blush. When he realized it he knew that it was already too late, maybe Travis hadn't seen it because it was dark outside. He blew smoke slowly into the air, turning back towards Travis looking for any reaction, delayed or present.

Travis continued to keep his head tilted as he looked at Seth. With all that was going on he could have believed that something was up. Before Seth looked away Travis could see the different emotions in his eyes. One of them he saw made him sigh heavily and left go of Seth’s warm yet comforting hand. He took a puff from his cigarette and exhaled stopping before he continued on his walk. He stood there for a moment staring at Seth a great many emotions going thought him. He had seen the blush but wasn’t going to say anything about it. Taking Seth’s coat from off his shoulders he placed it back on Seth’s and kissed his cheek lightly. “Thanks.” He told him before stuffing a hand into his pocket. “I’m getting cold so I’m gonna head inside.” He told him like he ranking a hand through his hair. With an adorable smirk he turned and started making his way up to the castle.

Seth felt them both come to an abrupt stop, and he felt Travis let go of his hand. His hand had been warm before and now it felt colder as he let it fall to his side. The empty feeling in his hand seemed to spread to his stomach, making him feel remotely dizzy for few quick seconds. The moment that his eyes met Travis's before he walked away felt like a lifetime crammed with a lot of emotions that he could barely begin to understand. Before he knew what had really happened, Travis had placed his coat back on his shoulders, kissed him on the cheek and retreated inside heading towards the warmth of the castle. Seth stood rooted to the spot blinking several times wondering if what had just happened was real. He caught Travis's smirk before he walked away, and gave him a weak shy smile. Seth wanted to speak up, yell out, or even catch up with Travis but he felt as if he couldn't move. He took the last drag on his cigarette as he quickly as he could before throwing the burnt out remains of it aside. Finishing off the cigarette seemed to have given him the ability and the strength to move. "Wait." Seth called, racing forward a couple steps before trying to walk faster to catch up to Travis's pace. His feet seemed to drag and his pace slackened a bit as he got closer he was expecting Travis to turn around and stop to talk to him again. A ton of things were going through his head right now, but he wasn't even sure if Travis was going to stop for him. He had no idea what he was going to say, but he had a feeling that the right words would come to him somehow.

When Travis had smirked and turned away he had caught a glimpse of a smile from Seth, which he found quiet cute. Nevertheless he continued on his way up to the castle. Taking the last puff from his cigarette he flicked it to his side as he proceeded up the hill. Now that he wasn’t smoking he could put both hands into his pant pockets. They began to fell warm, but it was nothing like the warmth he had gotten from Seth’s hand. He sighed heavily keeping his head down as he walked. What had happened was a complete emotional confusion for him, but he was better able to untangle himself from it. He smirked slightly remembering how soft his cheek had felt. Still proceeding up the hill he stopped when he heard Seth telling him to wait. He was surprised at this because he thought that Seth would just stand there trying to figure out what had happened. By that moment Travis would have already been long gone. Still pondering this, Travis turned around and waited for Seth to catch up.

Seth caught up, but it had taken him some time to scale the small hill that Travis had been climbing. As he walked he was able to collect his thoughts, but somehow nothing seemed to matter anymore. He was acting on something that he couldn't explain and wasn't even going to begin to try to verbalize. He approached Travis in a slow manner, it seemed to him to drag on forever before he reached him. Seth stood a moment standing silently in front of Travis, his head tilted forward a black mess of hair falling over the side of his face. The words seemed to disappear now, he couldn't think of anything that seemed right to say. Nothing needed to be said, it already seemed like it had been implied earlier. Seth leaned forward slowly and quickly kissed Travis, he pulled back unsure of what had really just happened. He looked at Travis reapproachfully waiting to be rejected or possibly just even punched in the face. His stomach seemed to seep deeper into the ground after this, but for some reason he didn't back down just yet. He wasn't sure if what had just happened really had happened, everything seemed like a daze. Seth felt like he had been smoking and way to much, because now his memory was blurry as the nervousness clutched at his already sinking stomach. He wasn't sure what to feel, and what not to feel. He wasn't even sure if it was right, he felt like he had just walked blind into a tunnel filled with traps. But somehow it didn't matter. He couldn't feel the cold around him any longer, just a warm feeling growing in his chest that seemed to accompany his stomach dropping several feet below it's normal resting place. It was a strange feeling one that he was sure that he didn't experiance often.

Travis watched as Seth scaled the small yet annoyingly steep hill. He knew how it was to scale it and continued to wait patiently not knowing what was going to happen. The fact that Seth was scaling the hill at that moment towards him had been a surprise. Something came to him and he winced slightly, maybe Seth wanted to hit him for the kiss on the cheek. He couldn’t tell what was going to happen so he prepared himself for a blow to the face. It would be expected. When Seth finally reached him he waited to see what would happen. So far there was just silence, deafening silence. Travis waiting for the blow but never got it. Instead what he got surprised him even more. Instead of having Seth’s fist in his face he felt his lips against his. He looked at Seth, not believing what had just happened. Had he dreamt that, was he hallucinating again? He had been clean for the past two weeks so it couldn’t be a drug dose. Maybe the cigarette had been a joint and he hadn’t known. He was still confused but snapped out of is the warm feeling in the pit of his stomach growing. Looking at Seth he could see a lot of confusion. Still not believing that had just happened, Travis stepped closer to Seth, lightly taking held his face before kissing him. He kept it longer then Seth had wanting to feel the warmth he got from it. He just hoped in this mind that Seth wouldn’t push him back and storm off angry. He wanted to assure him it wasn’t a dream.

Somehow Seth had been preparing himself for rejection, he wasn't sure how the whole thing would go over. But since Travis had made the first move, things now seemed expected to go one way or the other. Seth was still confused, his head seemed to be swimming with so many different ideas, but rejection had been the one that seemed the most vivid. When he felt Travis's hands on his face, he realized that it most likely wasn't a dream. The haze around it all seemed so real to Seth, it made look more like a dream than reality. But when he felt Travis's lips brush against his own he had a strong feeling that he wasn't dreaming. Whether drug induced or not, Seth had always felt numb, but now a content warm feeling had spread through him. The chill in the air seemed to have disappeared as quickly as a pile of snow under the hot June sun. It seemed like summer had come early on that steep hill near the lake. Seth's arm found it's way to Travis's shoulder before he pulled back gently, blushing and blinking in confusion even though he was sure that it wasn't a dream anymore. He found that he still couldn't speak correctly, sentences weren't completing themselves in his head, and incessantly babbling random words wasn't what he wanted to do. So he said nothing, he just stood there staring, the emotions fresh in his eyes.

The brief contact he got from kissing Seth caused him the heat in at the pit of his stomach to grow warming him instantly. The cold that he had felt before was now gone and it was replaced with a comfortable warmth. Something Travis hadn’t felt before. The whole situation still felt like a dream to him, heck he was still expecting Seth to push him to the ground or punch him in the face. That expectation still on his mind he was slightly hesitant in his kiss. He still feared rejection from Seth, he seemed lost and confused and Travis was worried he would regret all of this. If that was to happen at least Travis would have the kiss to go by. When feeling Seth’s arm on his shoulder, Travis prepared for the push and the rejection. When the push never came he looked at Seth slightly surprised. What he saw made him smile, a genuine and adorable smile. Seth was actually blushing. That was something he hadn’t seen yet and it was him that caused it. He couldn’t help but chuckle lightly; his hands still hold Seth’s face. “You know you look adorable when you blush. You should do it more often.” He commented still laughing slightly. He wanted to cut some of the tension and clear up the confusion that was evident in Seth’s eyes.

The warm feeling seemed to hover about Seth as he stood there, Travis's hands still holding his face and his arm still on his shoulder. Seth was still confused, but now it was more of a dream-like confusion. He was sure that he wasn't dreaming, but it all still seemed very foggy and unreal. Travis's statement brought a dry laugh to his throat, which was still warming all the same. It was only dry because he was a little struck that he had actually been blushing. He felt the heat rise to his face as he porribly grew red again. He smiled lightly and looked down, he didn't blush at all usually, when he was nervous he always took to biting his nails. But since his hands were occupied at the moment it wasn't an option. "Thanks." Seth replied, his voice sounded somehow distant and far off, where as Travis's statement had come to him so clear. He didn't know if he muttering, but he knew that his response had been something short of lame. Seth placed a few fingers on the black locks of Travis's hair at the back of his neck with the arm that he had wrapped around his shoulder. He had done it to check once more if the situation was actually happening, he porribly wouldn't be able to really realize what had happened until later. That's the way it was with Seth and the shock of things that happened around him ever since he had been younger. He let his hand drop a little grinning as if to reassure himself that it wasn't a dream.

Travis produced an adorable smirk and let his hands fall to his sides again. They were still warm from having held Seth’s face. He continued to look at Seth, watching as he tried to comprehend the situation. He now knew that this wasn’t a dream and that it had actually happened. So far so good, Seth hadn’t punched his lights out and didn’t seem to want to anytime soon. He couldn’t help but let out another chuckle when Seth turned redder then before. “There you go again, being all cute.” He teased wanting to lighten the mood a bit more. He was wondering what Seth was thinking. He hoped it wasn’t anything about running for his life at the moment. His voice sounded like it was slightly far away, he figured that Seth was still in a haze of some sort. “I’m real you know, need more proof?” he asked, feeling Seth’s fingers on the back of his neck. He was still teasing Seth a bit, because he wanted to see him blush again. From what he knew about Seth, he never blushed, when he was nervous he would bit his nails. “Can I ask you something? Does this mean anything to you?” he asked seriously, as he bit his bottom lip. He needed to know if it was or if this was a trick. He knew Seth was still confused but he really needed to know. If not he would have to think of something to say in order to explain to Seth about what he did.

Seth laughed a little as he realized that Travis was trying to lighten things up. He smiled, the red color fading back into his face before Travis made another comment about it. Seth turned his head to the side a little grinning shyly, "No." He replied, his tone sounded satisfied knowing now that he wasn't stuck in some sort of weird dream back up in the confines of the Slytherin boy's dorm. It was an odd feeling that still seemed to be tangled up in the confines of Seth's stomach as he let his own hand drop from Travis's shoulder, and let it retreat readily into his pocket. This time when he had spoken he felt that his voice sounded closer, nearly normal. But for some reason he didn't feel normal, Seth wasn't sure how he should feel, there was still a massive cloud of confusion hanging over his head. He knew better than to not trust his gut feeling, which was now laying shattered on the floor. He had gone souly on initution when he had gone after Travis and this is where it had taken him. Maybe it would be willing to take him a little further because Travis's next question baffled him. He didn't know how to answer, so he saved time and decided to go slow, letting himself think it all out first before replying. Seth didn't hesitant, he just stood quietly his brown eyes locked with Travis's a couple seconds before he peered down at the ground as if gathering his thoughts and his response. He didn't know what the right answer to the question was, or if there was even one. "Yeah." Seth said nodding his head slightly, his eyes were still set on Travis. He saw that he was biting his lip some, and grinned it was an old habit that he had when he got nervous. Seth was unsure at first if he wanted to change the topic, but than he went right into it anyways with a smirk, "You're still biting your lip?"

Travis tried to look slightly upset that he couldn’t sock Seth in the shoulder. It was how he had planned to prove that he was after all a real boy. Thinking this phrase in his head cause him to laugh out loud. This made him seem crazy seeing as he had said nothing. He still needed to find out where he had heard that phrase so he could curse the person for it. It was lame but somewhat funny if said in the right context. Travis shook his head having already made himself seem schizophrenically bipolar with some weird mental disease. He seemed to be laughing at things in his head which just proved something was wrong. Still biting his lip Travis waited for an answer. Heck any answer would do now, just to break this awkward silence. He was mentally kicking himself for ever saying anything. He just wanted to know but it seemed that it had been a stupid idea. Now Seth would be regretting it and everything. Yet he still waiting as he chewed his lip unconsciously. He had been looking at the ground when Seth had responded and his head lifted up at the answer. He smiled slightly eyes not leaving Seth’s. Travis was caught off guard when Seth mentioned his habit of biting his lip. “It’s better then biting my nails.” He told him wanting to stick his tongue out at him but he held back. Shoving his hands into his pockets he realized how cold they were. That then caused him to remember that he was still outside in the cold. The fact that he had no feeling in his limbs came back to him and shivered violently. His whole body turned pale once again as he tried to warm himself up.

When Travis had laughed out loud, Seth gave him a puzzled look before laughing a little himself. "What's so funny?" He asked tempted to give Travis a playful shove. The laugh had only begin to bother him when he realized that Travis had been looking straight at him when he had done it. It stirred Seth's suspicions as to what had happened barely minutes ago. This all couldn't be some kind of sick joke could it? The thought crossed his mind before he completely expunged it from his thought cycle, he didn't think that Travis would do that to him. He had to have been laughing at something else. Was he blushing again? Seth didn't know, he passed a hand causually over the side of his face to see if it felt abnormally hot signaling a red flush that could be associated with blushing. He realized that he wasn't, and that fact almost made him want to blush because the move that he had just excuted porribly looked very stupid and out of place. "Is it a problem that I'm too lazy to invest in a nail clipper?" Seth asked with a smirk, he was just teasing again. Seth's smirk dropped when he saw Travis shiver again for the second time that night. His hand went immediately to his shoulders where his coat had been hanging earlier. He realized that it had fallen off and landed somewhere behind him in the dark. "My coat seems to have wandered off again." Seth muttered more to himself than Travis. The cold night air seemed to hit him full on right after it had finished with Travis. He blinked as he reached into his pocket searching for his wand to cast some light on the steep hill.

Travis looked at Seth and smirked trying to get the thought out of his head. When Seth asked the question he was debating whether to just say that it was nothing or to tell him. If he told him Seth might find it a bit corny. He was about to tell him that it was nothing and not make himself look like a foul but frowned slightly when Seth seemed to look nervous. He noticed his hand go to his cheek and smiled an adorable smile at him. “Well when I thought about how I would prove to you that this was real, the weird phrase, ‘I’m a real boy’, came to my mind. I didn’t say it out loud because its just too weird.” He admitted shrugging his shoulders slightly. He knew it would seem really weird, it was even for him. He needed to remind himself to shut his brain off sometimes. At Seth’s comment Travis couldn’t help but laugh. He didn’t know what to say to that so instead he left it at that. The awkward silence never got a chance to approach for the next thing he heard from Seth was about his missing coat. He hadn’t realized it but it had fallen off somewhere. Travis looked behind Seth and spotted a dark lump halfway up the hill from there. “It’s over there, I think.” He said pointing behind Seth towards the lump. Walking down the hill, watching so he didn’t slip, Travis grabbed the coat and walked back to where Seth was. He draped the coat over Seth’s shoulders again. “Might want to get it a leash if it keeps getting away.” He teased smirking deviously at Seth.

Seth laughed out loud at Travis's remark, he laughed because it made no sense and it seemed kind of cute to see how Travis's mind worked under circumstances such as these. "That didn't make any sense.." Seth replied with a grin directed at Travis. He wasn't trying to make him feel stupid, but he just couldn't help himself. Seth exchanged a smile when Travis gave him a smirk. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." He replied. He hadn't been expecting Travis to find his coat so quickly, the event had knocked his process of thought off balance so now he couldn't remember what he had needed it for. His thoughts came flooding back, nearly knocking him over, his head felt like it was swimming again, but he appeared to be nervous no longer. "Here." Seth said again for the second time that night, he took the coat from his shoulders and swung it over Travis's. His face came dangerously close to Travis's but he seemed to have second thoughts about another kiss and it was clear with the red color that crept momentarily across his face. He let his hand hang on Travis's shoulder for a couple seconds before dropping it by his side with a small smirk.
