Stranded. Stranded inside the castle all day. Noelle gazed hopelessly out the classroom window as she wanted -- nay, prayed the bell would ring. While being at Hogwarts with people you hadn't seen in a while was fun, Noelle would much rather be outside than inside the stuffy castle anyday. As her mind started to wander, the sound of shuffling feet and papers snapped her back to reality. Class had ended. She glanced down at her blank paper. Once again, she'd spent the whole time daydreaming. As she left the classroom, she grabbed a student who had been in that class's notes and looked over them quickly. 'Must've been a Ravenclaw,' she thought, noting how detailed the notes were. Did she ever bother to look, or even thank, the people she stole notes from? Hell, no. Those people practically owed her notes, simply because she didn't curse them for annoying her.
Stuffing the notes in her bag, Noelle made her way back to her common room. Dropping her things down on the floor, she reached under her bed for her guitar. Green and silver; just the way it should be. Pushing past several people, Noelle found her way to a part of the lake, several trees brushed here and there. She laid down on her back and started to play a random tune. Before she knew what she was doing, she struck up in her favorite song. Of course it was a muggle band. While Noelle took pride in being a pure-blood, she couldn't help herself when it came to music. She loved any type, muggle or not. Playing softly, Noelle found herself starting to sing. "Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road, time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go. So make the best of this test, and don't ask why. It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right, I hope you had the time of your life. So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind, hang it on a shelf in good health and good time. Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial, for what it's worth it was worth all the while. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life." Now she was getting loud, and she knew it. It was a wonder how no one had heard her yet.
