It had been a few days of feeling tired and exhaustion for the young man by the name of Damien Miller. With his family away in the distance, it seemed that he was finally coming to the realization that this was his final year at Hogwarts. Most days shouldn't feel exhausting like they have been, but with his heart condition he decided that this was his year so with the risk of life he had just joined the quidditch team for this year. He knew that if something was to create that tear again in his heart that he could die before the school year was over iwth, but he also understood that he wasn't going to let anything keep him down like years before.
Sitting alone by the lake's edge and just staring at the shimmering glow that the lake's surface gave off. His mind was reeling with different questions within his own mind and yet he felt rather calm at the moment. Those icy blue eyes of his were filled with frustration at himself and yet he felt relaxed at the same time. Stifling a small yawn he continued to stare out the lake's beautiful surface while birds chirped away over head. A small smile appeared on his lips while he sat by the lake. 'Sure is quiet today' Damien thought to himself while he sat there.

The crisp winter air snapped as soon as the young Weasley stepped outside. Shaking her head to herself, she wrapped her black Hogwarts robe tighter to her a body in an effort to fight of the cold - which wasnt working so well. It was always so bloody cold in Great Britian, espically at this time of year. But Christmas Holiday was fast approaching and Leni smiled at the thought of returning home for Christmas at the Burrow. Where her whole entire family would be - and of course her Grandfather would enlarge the living and dining room. It was not humanly possible to fit the entire Weasley clan in a small room. Just couldnt happen.
But now Leni had absolutly nothing to do - so she decided to go out to the lake. It was nice - and she always heard stories about how her mum and dad were down at the bottem of the lake during the TriWizard Tornument. Bloody brilliant. She sat down and hugged her knees to her chest, breath puffing out in white mist. Stuiped bloody winter. Oh what Leni would give for a warming charm right about now.

.Natalie was out for a run. She was wearing a pair of jeans and a tank top, she didn't care about the weather, she almost never got cold. She made her way to the lake staying true to her routine, when she saw someone sitting their. She shrugged, time for a break i suppose. She slowed down more to a jog and stopped at a skid. She sat down a little ways away from him, she didn't know him that well anyway. They were both in Ravenclaw, and the team. But she was new to the team and they hadn't had practise yet. She smiled as she looked across the lake. She was leaning on her arms leaning back slightly, calming down from her run. "Hey," she said turning to him. She spotted someone else a little way away as well. She grinned, a weasley. cool, with some luck she might make two friends!

Hearing the fain sounds of someone running and it seemed that with the silence around him, his ears were able to pick up more sounds than normal. Hearing the every broken silence of another voice that had rung into his ears, Damien turned his head slightly and smiled at his own follow Ravenclaw. "Hello, I see that your out for a run" Damien said to Natalie before looking around to see a younger student by themselves. With a small gesture towards the young Weasley, he figured having the company of two others would be nice for a change. Plus just observing the young girl he noticed that she was rather cold looking at the moment.
"By the way, the name's Damien Miller" Damien said to Natalie with a soft smile and figured that a true gentleman should always introduce themselves. Damien held out his hand to shake her hand. It wasn't like he wanted them to think he wasn't friendly since he believed in good manners were needed these days. It seemed the company of the two girls had helped ease his mind away on the troubles of his own personal health.

Natalie smiled and shook his hand. "Yes I was. Nice to meet you Damien. Natalie." She said, after sitting up correctly. She looked around her, apprecieting the silence. She had always been a nature girl, just like her mother, and nothing like her father. She sighed to herself, a sigh that was barely a sound at all. A smile passed over her face as she leaned back yet again, unable to stay in one possition for long.

Leni turned her head to see two clearly older students than her - and by the look of blue on their robes, they appeared to be Ravenclaw's. Her older brother and cousin was in the same house as the two students, and Leni wondered briefly if maybe they knew them.
She got up and moved to sit near them, and smiled slightly - accepting the boys invition to join them. "Names Leni. Leni Weasley. Nice to meet you two." Of course she was a Weasley. That much was obvious. There were enough Weasley's at Hogwarts to have their own Quidditch team. Seriously.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Natalie" Damien said to her while knowing it was always a pleasure to meet new possible friends. It wasn't like he was a huge social type guy since his heard things about him that seemed foolish. Yes he was the usually soft spoken guy who wasn't all about the partying, but it was more because he worried about his own health since anything to stressful could harm his heart and open that defect he was born with. It was controlled now but he was warned it couldcome back.
Turning to the younger student he listened while she introduced herself to them. Damien allowed a friendly smile to appear on his face. "Well it's nice to meet you Leni, the name's Damien Miller" Damien replied to her while wanting her to feel welcome even if they were older students that Leni herself.

Natalie smiled at both of them, wondering who to talk to first. She decided on Leni "It's nice to meet you," she said smiling. She couldn't help it any more. Leaning on her arms was just not comfortable enough. she laid down hoping they wouldn't mind. They seemed really nice, a wealsey and a fellow Ravenclaw. Perhaps this day would turn out promising. She knew why she was so tired, and it wasn't because of the running. Last night some of her friends had thrown a little party. Not every girl, and not one of the whole house party either. Just her dorm, rebeling and staying up till all hours. Talking and dancing. Just being friends, and Natalie had joined in. She had gotten, maybe 3 hours of sleep. But it had been worth it. She sighed, her friends were pretty split, some in her house and some in others. She wished she could throw a party where all her friends could come. But not so soon, she needed to get back on track for sleeping, or she would have no energy for running.

"How are you two young ladies enjoying the school year so far?" Damien asked the both of them while just wanted to converse just about anything since he wouldn't mind having new friends. Damien had looked around the grounds and lake with those icy blue eyes of his before looking back at the girls. He felt glad to be back for his final year at Hogwarts but he knew that he was going to miss it alot once the year was over with.

Natalie smiled. "So far it's been great! I just hope it stays like this!" It had pretty much been a usual year for her. Running, quiddich, friends and parties. And staying away from the popular crowd. She looked up at the sky, and folded her arms across her chest. She began thinking about all the things she wanted to do this year. There were a lot... She looked at the clouds and smiled when she saw the shape of a moon. Her favorite symbol. She reached to her neck where the moon necklace was. A bitter sweet moment. She shook it off and let go of the necklace. Her smile reapeared and she went back to thinking about the year ahead.
