All Students, Hogwarts Staff Members, and Guests come here to eat Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The Great Hall is also sometimes used for other things such as apparation lessons and major tests. Stop by here to eat the delicious food made by the house elves in the kitchens. There are four long house tables, from the door they are Slytherin, then Ravenclaw, beside them Hufflepuff, and at the other end of the room, Gryffindor. At the very front, perpendicular to the four house tables, is the High Table where the staff and guests eat and can watch over the students.

Leading out of the Great Hall through a simple door is a small chamber containing a large fireplace as well as many portraits. Often a place for Professors to meet after meals.

On the Ground Floor lies a long-panelled room. Inside are many mismatched, dark chairs as well as a large wardrobe which is often known to contain a boggart. Welcome to the Staff Room! --BEWARE STUDENTS-- Upon entering you may be greeted by an extremely delirious professor who will gladly through a hot cup of coffee onto your school robes

The only corridor located on the ground floor of the castle contains one classroom, as well as a side door which has become an often place where students hang out during a break.

This empty classroom is often used as a substitute room. If a classroom is being worked on, or for some reason idle, this is the most regular option. It can also be used as a place for meetings of clubs.

This out of order bathroom, has often been found flooded. It also has been a common meeting place for those working on private business. Do be wary though, as this bathroom is still being haunted by the ever-so-annoying ghost, Moaning Myrtle

The Legendary Statue of the Humpbacked Witch. Pretty freaky, yes, but not many know that it is a secret passageway into the cellar of Honeydukes Sweetshop. Say the magic words, tap it's hump, and you're in business!If getting in their means so much to you, ask a admin and maybe you shall get it!

This forbidden corridor has many statues of witches and wizards. At the end lays a large wooden door, where once a paticularly large, three headed dog, guarded a trapped door.

Kept in this Crystal display case, is a place of all of Hogwarts accomplishments, and accompalists! From the Headboys and girls, to every quidditch and house cup, nearly all the award winning records of Hogwarts can be found in this very room

The Armor Gallery is adjacent from the Trophy room. The name seems to explain it all, a Gallery of Armor.

The large Hospital Wing, which can be entered by the two large double doors, takes in all kinds of injuries! From hexes, sprained ankles, or if you accidently got your hand glued to your wand, no matter! Madam Pomfrey will gladly fix you up, please excuse her if your medicine is absolutely ickle tasting.

All troublemakers report here for detentions. They will serve their detention with the professor who assigned it, or another who will take on the job. Remember, detentions may be given out by Head Boy/Girl as well as just prefects, so beware.

Being as high as a classroom ceiling and standing on two clawed feet, the Mirror of Erised is a mystery of Hogwarts. Being found by a few students, the Mirror has a magnificent ability. Have you figured it out?

The Statue of Boris the Bewildered is quite bewildering. The students seem to know nothing of the statue, let alone its significance. Though, it seems to come by as a great amusement to the Professors as they pass by with a grin.

Boys come here to use the restroom...and probably other things. This restroom is much dirtier than the girls', but its a restroom none the less.

Learn about the stars. In this class you come to learn about the constalations and the things associated with planets and the worlds. Learn about the sun and sky, the planets and constellations and allignments, everything out of this world.

The entrance to this particular lies behind a large statue of a gargoyle on the second floor. Once in through the door, you will find yourself riding up what seems like a never-ending, spiral, wooden stair case until you reach the entrance. Once inside there are many desks, chairs, cabinets, and shelves. but most importantly, a portrait of every previous headmaster and headmistress occupy the walls.

Care of Magical Creatures Class is located quite near to the Groundskeepers hut. While on odd occasions class will be held in Classroom 11, it is more regularly held in the large, stone, paddock. Many creatures seem to find themselves making guest appearances at the class, and on rare occasions care of magical creatures will be held in the forest.

There is a wide flat lawn opposite of the forest, as well as the Groundskeeper's hut. Though the lawns cover a large area, they slope to the side of the forest, as well as the border of the lake. There are a few scarce trees which can be used for shade, but the lawns is used mainly for snowball fights in the winter or a walk with a friend.

On the grounds,a row of brooms sit along the wall, awaiting for the students to occupy. If you have your own broom, bring it. Students will either be practicing on the Grounds or in the Quidditch Pitch. In this class they will learn to fly (if in their 1st year) or will improve and learn tricks and moves (2nd-7th year), maybe even practice after a while. Don't fly without supervision in 1st year!

The Castle is located North of the large Lake which is slightly above on a cliff, where it can get a good view of the water. approximately a half-mile in diameter and occupies quite a few creatures such as merpeople, grindylows, and the infamous Giant Squid.

The Quidditch Field is opposite side of the castle from the Forest. This is where all Quidditch Matches are held, as well as Quidditch practices for all teams. Make sure you get permission from a Professor before heading out here!

The Garden's of Hogwarts is occupied by many beautiful flowers as well as plants. Many of these flora and fauna are nursed in the Greenhouses during the winter, and planted outside during the summer through fall. In the dead of summer usually comes by as the most beautiful time for the flowers, even stunning enough to be tempted to steal one for a loved one. Make sure no one sees!

To the west of Hogwarts Castle is a large, dark forest. This forest is strictly off limits to Hogwarts students, except in the course of occasional Care of Magical Creatures lessons. The forbidden forest is home to a wide and strange assortment of creatures. Anything wild and dangerous that needs a place to live is put there like Acromantulas . Though, there are some less vicious creatures such as the Unicorn, Centaur, and Thestrals

Come here to visit one of the many shops or street vendors in Diagon Alley. Anything can be bought here and for some pretty good prices(give or take a few).

Come shopping in Hogsmeade. Its close to the school and third years and up are allowed to attend with Parental Permission. Come and buy candy, books, ice cream, anything.

It also holds the Fountain where you may throw in coins and make a wish and all proceeds are donated to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.

The Department of Mysteries is located on Level Nine of the Ministry Of Magic. No one, except for the workers(also known as Unspeakables), knows what goes on in here and they won't tell you. Top Secret!
